Although I’m not the biggest fan of Science Fiction books, I
thought Lightning, in the Sone Braide Chronicles by Bonnie Calhoun, would be a
good book to read after I enjoyed the first book in the series. Selah, who was
reunited with her father, is now looking for her step-father, mother, and
brother who must now be rescued from the Mountain. The fast pace book follows Selah
on this mission while she faces many challenges along the way!!
I think this book is best read in order with the other books in
this series. It would be confusing to understand if you did not read the other
books. Although I read the first book in this series, there are still questions
that I’m looking to see resolved. Maybe they will be revealed in the 3rd
book in this series!
